About the Artist
I have been painting on silk for more than 20 years but I didn’t try other mediums until I retired 8 years ago. Since then I’ve tried watercolor, oils and my current favorite pastels.
I am inspired by color. The turqoise in the waves of the sea, the amber in the eyes of a tiger or the pink of a perfect rose. Most days around 4 am you will find me at my easel alone in my own little world of color.
I live on the Kitsap Peninsula about an hour (by ferry) from Seattle. I work in my home studio Lochgelly (named after the small town in Scotland where my Grandmother was born).
